The Creative Young Entrepreneur Program

The Creative Young Entrepreneur Program (CYE for short) is an international competition to encourage young entrepreneurs to present their project to hand-picked experts for access to expert training and cash injection.

What to Expect?

At the end of each conference, winners will be selected. The top 2 finalists will be invited to the JCI World Congress stage to participate in the finals.

Put those hard-earned skills and experience to use by registering today and in turn, reap the rewards of access to expert training and advice and the potential to win $5,000 USD at the area conference and $10,000 USD as a Grand Prize at the World Congress!

With these exciting changes, the application fee remains at $50 USD and applicants must meet the 18-40 age requirement.

Motivated by this, they developed AI-driven technology for early damage detection in wind turbine blades, providing real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance services. Werover envisions transforming the renewable energy industry, supporting sustainability, and enhancing ROI while reducing environmental impact through innovation and excellence.

Antoine’s business, Circu Li-ion, pioneers a groundbreaking battery cell upcycling process that reclaims up to 80% of end-of-life battery cells and components. This innovation fosters a sustainable battery industry ecosystem through the re-use of diagnosed cells in second-life applications and more efficient recycling of end-of-life cells. Additionally, Circu Li-ion engages in clean recycling of remaining battery materials, contributing to a more sustainable future while reselling these resources.

Waste to Wealth (W2W – Engineering) was born from an incident in Mali a decade ago when local authorities planned a landfill near the Medina Coura community’s primary school. This sparked Moussa’s journey to find waste transformation solutions. After researching global initiatives during Moussa’s 2013 Master’s program in Senegal, Moussa became fixated on recycling plastic waste. Since 2014, Moussa’s focus has been on converting plastic waste into construction materials. This journey led to tangible results, including publications and large-scale ecological concrete applications in Mali.

Trinidad and Tobago’s current water demand exceeds supply, resulting in a 44 MCM/year deficit. With over a million registered vehicles and 25,000 added yearly, car washing exacerbates the water shortage. Kairos GSC Ltd introduced EcoWash, a water-efficient car wash system using only 2 liters per wash. It aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 6, ensuring water availability and sustainability, while also serving as the only legal car wash system in Trinidad and Tobago.

Small business owners are empowered to extend lighting access and provide charging stations in their shops. LightEd aspires to illuminate lives globally, becoming a beacon of hope for those living without light.

It caters to typical students, language learners, and special education needs, fostering inclusivity. Magrid also aids teachers with an efficient curriculum, reducing their workload. It promotes sensory-friendly, tactile learning and teacher training while minimizing screen time.

It provides direct access to qualified doctors, eliminating the need for clinic or hospital visits. Their mission is to democratize healthcare through digital health, bridging gaps in income and technology access while ensuring medical privacy. By July 2021, TalktoDok had assisted over 2,300 individuals and collaborated with 135 healthcare providers. It holds a significant position in the growing Telemedicine industry in the Philippines and has potential for further expansion.

Drones in STEM Education’s mission is to transform the drone technology workforce by educating and training individuals and organizations in harnessing drones for safety and efficiency. They target primary (7-12 years) and high school (13-18 years) students, collaborating with Zimbabwe Flying Labs and Precision Aerial for specialized services. Their growth strategy comprises four key pillars: drone training, instructor licensing, marketing, and capital investment, driving youth education in this specialized field.

Eligibility

The conditions for admission are as follows :

✔️ The participant must be an active member of JCI

✔️ The participant must be between 18 and 40 years old

✔️ Applications must be in English

Applications will then be reviewed by a panel of expert judges. Selected participants will receive high quality training to compete at their Area Conference. During these events, each applicant will receive professional feedback from the judges and answer their questions in order to better build the project.
